This festive season was a whirlwind of activities and events that brought smiles, laughter, and memories to our residents and their families.
December started with a Christmas shopping trip, where our residents visited Swansea city centre Christmas market and their favourite Marks & Spences. By stopping for a festive drink in a local coffee.
A highlight of our celebrations was the heartwarming community event held at Swansea University. Our residents were treated to a fantastic Christmas lunch and gifted stockings filled with goodies. Amidst the festive decorations, music, and delicious food, they danced, sang, and enjoyed the company of others.
Adding to the festive joy, another festive event unfolded at a village hotel in Swansea, where residents and their families met Santa Claus, had a two-course Christmas lunch and shared plenty of fun-filled moments together.
But that wasn’t all—our annual Christmas party was an absolute blast! The home was beautifully decorated by our staff and residents, we had an amazing buffet prepared by talented kitchen staff, and the ambiance was set by the festive tunes of the ukulele club, spreading cheerful vibes and creating a great atmosphere. Santa made a surprise appearance, accompanied by the mischievous Grinch, attempting to steal our Christmas joy—but our residents and their families were unstoppable in having a good time and spreading joy!
As the new year approaches, we extend our warmest wishes to our friends and families. Cheers to the new year of 2024, filled with health, happiness, and beautiful memories waiting to be created.
