Always Warm,
Always Welcoming

My mother was very happy and told me that the staff there were lovely. Staff are always cheerful and can't do enough for the residents. There are lots of activities every week, and the family are invited to join in. We are made to feel very welcome. All the staff always appear happy and create a welcoming atmosphere for family and friends. Seeing my mother so well cared for makes me feel happy.

Mum has been at Glais House for 14 months. The improvement in her health (mental and physical) is attributable to the professional and loving care of the staff (all of them). She now feels safe and secure. She is well-loved, and care is taken to ensure she gets outdoors whenever the weather permits. Following a nasty fall, when mobility was badly affected, every staff member helped and encouraged Mum to work hard to regain her previous level of self-care and mobility. Miraculous! Full marks to all of you. She remains strong, determined and such a pleasure to visit. We feel blessed. Thank you.

My mum has been a resident for the past two years at Glais House Nursing Home. She is very happy here and the staff have all become like family to her (and myself). She is cared for so very well here. The home and gardens are beautiful. There are always activities and various functions going on, all of which Mum thoroughly enjoys. My mother started residing at Glais House Nursing Home in September 2022 and settled quickly into her new surroundings. Her room is kept clean and tidy and the staff have always been kind and welcoming to both my mother and us, as a family. My mother is well looked after and kept very clean and is treated with respect and dignity. Her demeanour is generally happy and she has a good rapport with staff.
